Tips For a Home Bar and Cocktail Lounge

Whether you like to play host of the most happening parties or lounging in your comfy sofa to mellow music with your sweetheart, your home bar would always prove to be a blessing! And imagine the amount of cost you would be cutting down on from the overpriced alcohol at pubs and from the gas to get around.

Choose a design for your bar- if you want it to be a sports bar or something classier. Sports bar designs and the home casino theme will make your home the favorite hangout zone for your pals. If you have enough space, fit in a Billiard table or if you are short of space dart boards can always be adjusted which will add fun to the drinking. If you like the classy look go for the English pub or the Irish pub design. For a more relaxed feel, there are the Tiki bar design and the wine bar design.

Start collecting your bar supplies, bar appliances, barware, bar equipment and bar accessories that will give more credibility to the bar. Stock your liquor bar with your favorite alcohols, keeping in mind the basic kinds to cater to your guests. For the seating, bar stools will certainly add glamor to your place but the idea of a home bar is to lounge around, for which you can add sofas, couches and lounge chairs designed per your theme. Adorn the walls with vintage posters or framed prints which will add class to your bar. To create the bar atmosphere, hang some neon signs like the neon beer sign which would make the bar more cozy with the dim mood lighting.

Turn on the music and help yourself to a glass of whisky as you listen to The Alabama Song. You’ll never have to look for a whiskey bar again!
